Is there a lost
and found at camp? Yes. While our staff does their best to send campers home with everything they came with to camp, items of clothing, towels, shoes and other personal items do get left at camp. To help us with this process, please make sure that your camper's belongings are clearly labeled. We will hold lost and found items until the end of the camping season. At that time, we will donate the Lost and Found items to the Salvation Army. How may I purchase a camp photo? Each camp session has a group photo taken each week. Pictures are $5 and should be pre-ordered either during our online registration process or during check-in on Sunday afternoon. There are usually a few extra photos available on Saturday morning, however, there is no guarantee that photos will be available. Day camp photos will be available after the Family Day activities at the camp store on Friday evening. How much money should I place into my camper's store account? $10 for the week ought to cover most food and drink items. If you would like your camper to buy an article of clothing or other piece of camp memorabilia, then you can include that amount to your camper's store account money. Registering your camper online provides you with two new options: 1. You may include a $10 T-shirt in your transaction. 2. You may include an amount, which you specify, to be added to your child's store account. At what time may I pick up my camper on Saturday? Campers are released between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. If you need to pick up your camper earlier please inform the camp registrar during registration on Sunday. At what time may I check in my camper on Sunday? Registration begins sharply at 2:00 p.m. If you are going to be arriving later that day, please call the camp office (413.655.2650) or email. What type of footwear should I send with my camper? Your camper will need several types of footwear at camp. Please mark all footwear with your camper's name, and be sure to send at least the following: * Two (2) pairs of sneakers to play the various field games. * A pair of sandals/flip-flops to wear while walking to the waterfront and while boating. Campers are NOT allowed to walk around barefoot at camp, except at the waterfront. What type of swimwear should I send with my camper? Swimwear should be appropriate for a Christian camp (i.e. trunks for boys, and either one-piece or tankini for girls). The Waterfront Director may ask your child to wear a T-shirt over their bathing suit, if deemed inappropriate. Campers are in the water numerous times each day, so each camper should have at least two (2) bathing suits and several (2+) towels. Please remember to place your camper's name on each item. What items are prohibited at camp? Over the years we've found that personal electronic devices detract from the camp experience. Campers may not bring: * Cell phones * Personal music devices (cd players, iPods) * Hand-held video game systems. No tobacco products, alcohol, or drugs (except those prescribed by a Doctor and logged in the infirmary) are allowed at camp.
